Viral Egg White Wraps: The Easy High-Protein, Low-Calorie Wrap I Can't Stop Making

- 2 min read

As dental professionals, we often spend our days taking care of everyone else while neglecting our own nutrition.
Sound familiar? You start the day with good intentions, but before you know it, lunch is a protein bar, leftover donuts from the break room, or whatever snack you can grab between patients.
The problem is that many of these quick options are high in sugar and low in protein, leaving us with an energy spike followed by the dreaded afternoon crash.
That's why I've been loving these viral egg white wraps.
Each wrap contains approximately 15 grams of protein and only 80 calories, making them an easy way to stay fueled during a busy clinical day. They're portable, customizable, and perfect for meal prep. I can make a batch ahead of time, keep them in the fridge, and quickly grab one when I need something filling between patients.
Protein helps keep you satisfied longer, supports muscle recovery, and provides more sustained energy than the sugary snacks many of us rely on during hectic workdays.
Viral Egg White Wrap Recipe
Ingredients
150g liquid egg whites (pasteurized/cartoned)
Non-stick cooking spray
Savory Version (my favorite):
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp dried dill
Sweet Version:
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sweetener of choice
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Line a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and generously spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Add egg whites to a clean mixing bowl.

Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, whip until stiff peaks form (about 4 minutes in my stand mixer). The mixture should be thick enough that you can carefully turn the bowl upside down without anything falling out.
Add your seasonings and mix briefly.

Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake for 10 minutes.
Allow to cool for 10–15 minutes before removing from the pan.

Fill with your favorite ingredients and enjoy!
